Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely per policy
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team
- Support patient comfort, hygiene, and daily living needs with dignity
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions to ensure continuity
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in patient records
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (eligible to practice in Pennsylvania preferred)
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Compassionate communicator with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program (required)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in basic nursing procedures and medication administration
- Familiarity with charting and clinical documentation best practices
- Good vital signs assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Strong time management and prioritization in a clinical setting
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
