Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs, recognizing and reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and care plans
- Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania required
- Completion of an accredited LPN program (diploma or certificate)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work 12-hour per diem shifts and be flexible with assignments
- Clear background check and drug screening as required by facility
Education
- LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in medication administration and documentation
- Comfort with resident assessment and basic nursing procedures
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
