Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately as directed
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and responses to care
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort
- Collaborate with the nursing team and facility staff to follow care plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
- Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in Pennsylvania
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Comfortable working per diem shifts and adapting to varying schedules
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Professional, reliable, and patient-centered approach
- CPR/BLS certification is a plus
Education
- Completion of accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic nursing treatments
- Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
- Wound care basics and pressure injury prevention
- Electronic or paper charting and accurate documentation
- Infection prevention and standard precautions
- Teamwork, time management, and effective communication
