Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients with skill and empathy
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the clinical team promptly
- Maintain clear, thorough charting in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to support recovery
- Contribute to a positive, professional workplace culture that centers patients
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia (required) — you must be able to practice in GA
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and providing reliable coverage
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Clinical experience in acute or long-term care preferred
Education
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in patient assessment and medication administration
- Skilled at documentation and electronic medical records
- Solid infection control and safety practices
- Good prioritization and time-management for busy shifts
- Teamwork and professional communication with multidisciplinary teams
