Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to assigned patients as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy
- Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and document accurately
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
- Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and dignity
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, professional communication
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — Pennsylvania license preferred or eligible for licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with medication administration and routine nursing procedures
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to varying assignments
Education
- LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of clinical assessment and basic patient care
- Familiarity with medication administration and documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during shifts
- Competence with electronic charting or willingness to learn facility system
- Professional bedside manner and patient-focused communication
