Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients
- Administer medications and treatments per plan of care
- Perform routine assessments and monitor patient condition, reporting changes promptly
- Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Prior experience in a clinical setting (long-term care, med/surg, or similar) preferred
Education
- Vocational nursing diploma, certificate, or equivalent
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Georgia
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Skilled in basic patient assessments and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
