Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately
- Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and the care team to coordinate patient care
- Perform wound care, basic procedures, and assist with ADLs as needed
- Maintain clear, timely charting and uphold regulatory documentation standards
- Educate patients and families on care plans, meds, and follow-up instructions
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia or eligible for GA licensure
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain upon hire)
- Previous LPN experience preferred; strong clinical judgment and compassion required
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid medication administration and documentation skills
- Comfortable with basic nursing assessments and monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and bedside charting
