Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform routine assessments and monitor patient vital signs
- Document patient care clearly and promptly in the medical record
- Communicate effectively with the care team to support coordinated care plans
- Support patient education and family communication to improve outcomes
- Assist with procedures and provide hands-on nursing support as directed
Qualifications
- Current LPN credential (Licensed Practical Nurse) in good standing (state licensure per facility requirements)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain per facility policy
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and adapting to facility scheduling
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams
- Willingness to complete required pre-employment screenings and onboarding
Education
- LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate; high school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment skills and patient monitoring
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic wound care, IV site observation, and skilled hands-on nursing
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear charting
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced hospital setting
