Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients with professionalism and attention to detail
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility protocols
• Monitor patient status, document observations accurately, and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to support coordinated, high-quality care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth patient transitions
• Maintain infection control standards and uphold patient safety at all times

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — Georgia licensure expected (please have license ready)
• Clinical experience caring for adult patients; recent hands-on experience is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Demonstrated ability to follow physician orders, complete accurate documentation, and work effectively on a team
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Comfortable with vital signs monitoring, wound care basics, and patient assessments
• Proficient documentation skills — clear, accurate charting is essential
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and patient advocacy skills
