Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care with compassion, ensuring comfort and safety
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
- Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and follow individualized care plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient records
- Support patient and family education, answering questions and offering guidance
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license (practical nurse) — ready to practice in Georgia or eligible for licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-centered
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program and high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, and basic assessments
- Familiarity with electronic charting and accurate documentation practices
- Good time management in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to prioritize patient safety and follow established protocols
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
