Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility with dignity and compassion
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent falls and promote comfort
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nursing staff during handoffs
• Help maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for patients and visitors
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to enhance patient care skills

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — active and in good standing
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and able to participate in orientation
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with nurses and clinical staff
• Willingness to complete facility-required screenings and onboarding (e.g., background check, health screenings)

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care: ADLs, hygiene assistance, mobility support
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
• Clear documentation skills and reliable handoff communication
• Infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, patient-focused demeanor
