Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents and patients, supporting activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting with dignity and respect
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in shift handoffs
• Support a calm, safe and clean environment for patients and visitors
• Participate actively in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices

Qualifications

• Active LNA certification (or equivalent) — NH licensure preferred or eligibility to obtain NH license
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in orientation
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior experience in long-term care or acute care helpful but motivated new grads welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care techniques and safe transfer/mobility assistance
• Basic clinical observation skills and ability to recognize changes in patient condition
• Infection control, hygiene and safety procedures
• Time management, documentation and effective communication with the healthcare team
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
