Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, set up and run automatic injectors, and adjust contrast per age-group needs
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation for QA and regulatory compliance
• Assist with interventional procedures, sterile technique, and venipuncture when needed
• Practice radiation protection principles and modify protocols for pediatric and geriatric patients
• Take part in departmental quality assurance, daily/weekly QC, and equipment care
• Provide excellent patient transfer and customer service, supporting patients across the lifespan
• Rotate shifts and assume departmental responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (Radiography) certification required
• Clinical competency to be demonstrated within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Ability to perform diagnostic exams relevant to assigned modalities (CT and X-ray required)
• Willingness to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
• Comfortable assisting with invasive/interventional procedures and working across multiple imaging modalities

Education

• Current ARRT (Radiography) certification required
• Clinical competency demonstrated within 3 months of hire

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic examination techniques and radiation protection
• Experience with CT imaging, automatic injector operation, and contrast administration
• Competence in sterile technique, venipuncture, and interventional assistance
• Familiarity with tele-radiology transmission and departmental QA/QC processes
• Good patient-handling skills for pediatric through geriatric populations
• Equipment care, supply inventory, and record maintenance skills
