Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and proper use of mobility equipment
- Maintain clean, safe and comfortable patient environments
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly during handoffs
- Support the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (or equivalent) — must be eligible to work in Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable with hands-on patient care and lifting or assisting with mobility
- Successful completion of background check and health screening as required
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental patient care techniques and safe body mechanics
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Infection prevention and hygiene best practices
- Clear verbal and written communication with patients and staff
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
