Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility
Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to deliver person-centered care and positive resident experiences

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with mobility
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled night shift

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
State-approved CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and team members
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfer techniques
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting
Empathy, patience, and the ability to work well under pressure
