Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct resident care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility support
- Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
- Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment
- Document care and observations clearly in resident records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
- Treat residents and families with dignity, respect, and empathy
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (active and in good standing)
- State-specific certification preferred (CT credentials encouraged)
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification recommended or facility-required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and assist with transfers
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident care best practices
- Familiarity with infection control and basic hygiene protocols
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, skin checks, and mobility assistance
- Accurate documentation and charting skills
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes effectively
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
