Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents and assist with activities of daily living
- Measure and record vital signs accurately and timely
- Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team clearly
- Document care delivered in accordance with facility policies and standards
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Authorization to work in Pennsylvania and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with residents and the care team
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced care environment
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient-centered care and basic nursing assistance
- Understanding of infection control and safety practices
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
