Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record resident conditions and vital signs, reporting meaningful changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Assist with meal service and feeding as needed, observing dietary needs and preferences
- Follow infection control practices and facility policies to protect residents and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Document care provided accurately and timely in resident records
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (required) — must be eligible to work in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
- Able to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Comfortable with hands-on patient care and physical tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed state-approved CNA training program and current CNA credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant practices and resident care principles
- Skilled in safe transfer and positioning techniques
- Familiarity with infection control and hygiene standards
- Strong observational skills and ability to report changes in condition
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
