Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and compassion
Support safe mobility and transfers while following facility protocols
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Observe residents and communicate status changes to nursing staff clearly and professionally
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care activities and contribute to accurate patient records
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in Pennsylvania)
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
Compassionate patient care mindset and strong communication skills
Previous long-term care or nursing home experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ADLs and resident care routines
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, documentation, feeding assistance
Understanding of infection control and HIPAA principles
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Reliability, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude
