Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document resident status, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, promoting independence and dignity
- Support mealtime and hygiene needs while encouraging resident comfort
- Collaborate with the care team to maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies consistently
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts as noted in the job details
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support residents and staff
- Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and escalate concerns
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and ADL support
- Basic vital signs monitoring and observation skills
- Infection prevention and safe patient handling awareness
- Clear, respectful communication and teamwork
- Attention to detail for documentation and resident safety
