Shift Type: Per diem nights (varies/as-needed), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, helping with daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while preserving dignity
- Monitor and report changes in residents condition to nursing staff promptly
- Take and document vital signs and basic observations accurately
- Support meaningful social interaction and encourage resident engagement
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
- Comfortable with night shift responsibilities and working independently
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen and any required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic resident care and ADL assistance
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control and safe transfer techniques
- Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Compassionate communication with residents and families
- Teamwork and responsiveness in a fast-paced care setting
