Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms for a high volume of patients, keeping clinical care safe and timely
• Build accurate end-of-shift reports and manage admissions/discharges in the GE Carescape system
• Communicate promptly and professionally with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone application
• Maintain a clear and current call log and escalate critical events appropriately
• Multi-task across monitors while staying calm under pressure and prioritizing patient safety
• Contribute to a positive, organized unit by following attendance and unit guidelines

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in remote monitoring or telemetry monitoring
• Telemetry competency and ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret heart rhythms
• Proficient typing skills and basic computer knowledge
• Comfortable using an iPhone application for clinical communication
• Reliable attendance and professional communication in written and spoken English
• Preferred but not required: CNA background, cardiac nursing experience, ECG Board Certification, previous GE monitoring experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Remote monitoring and telemetry best practices
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
• Experience with GE Carescape platform for admissions, discharges, and reporting
• Desktop phone and mobile app communication with clinical teams
• High-volume patient monitoring and prioritization
• Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
