Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients across the lifespan to identify speech, language, and swallowing needs
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that make measurable progress
• Deliver high-quality therapy sessions, adjusting techniques to meet each patient’s goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to coordinate care
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and thorough manner
• Educate families and staff on strategies to support carryover and functional communication
• Monitor outcomes and refine interventions to maximize patient independence and quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain PA SLP licensure quickly
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred and welcomed
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Background check and required immunizations or health screenings completed prior to start
• Comfortable providing care across varied settings and collaborating with school, rehab, or clinical teams

Education

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, articulation, fluency, and voice assessments
• Experience with swallowing evaluations and safe feeding strategies
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools
• Strong documentation and treatment planning skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, nurses, therapists, and families
• Comfortable using outcome measures and adjusting interventions based on data
