Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional high risk antepartum nursing care for patients from 6 weeks to 41 weeks gestation
- Manage medication administration including anticoagulation therapy, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate with precision and safety
- Maintain and care for central lines (CVC/PICC) and perform IV therapy and phlebotomy when needed
- Circulate for C-sections and support the surgical team to ensure smooth, safe deliveries
- Assist with sterile speculum exams at the bedside and support amniocentesis and other procedures
- Operate and monitor PCA pumps and syringe pumps to manage patient comfort and therapies
- Provide compassionate care for patients experiencing fetal demise or loss and coordinate with NICU and postpartum teams
- Float to the postpartum unit to support patient transitions and family-centered care
- Document patient care accurately and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Current RN license; compact license accepted at Swedish facilities
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; experience with C-sections required
- AWHONN Advanced required
- BLS and NRP required
- ACLS preferred
- Comfort maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC) and managing high-risk antepartum conditions
- Ability to float to postpartum unit and work collaboratively across teams
- First-time travelers welcome; travel experience is not required
Knowledge & Skills
- High Risk Antepartum care including PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, PROM, twins, and substance use disorder in pregnancy
- Antepartum procedures and bedside sterile speculum exam support
- Labor and delivery management and circulating for C-section
- IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line maintenance (CVC/PICC)
- Medication management: anticoagulants, insulin drips, magnesium sulfate
- Experience with PCA pumps and syringe pumps
- Comfort with critical situations and compassionate support for loss and NICU-related postpartum care
- Certifications and proficiency with AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP; ACLS a plus
