Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: Day shifts 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM (3x12), Night shifts 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (3x12). Primarily evenings-to-nights with rotating weekends (every other weekend).
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care: triage, rapid assessment, and stabilization of patients across the lifespan from infants to geriatrics
- Initiate and manage IV therapy including central line care, blood product administration, and vasopressor management
- Interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases and manage ventilated patients in collaboration with physicians and respiratory therapy
- Deliver advanced emergency interventions including CPAP/BiPAP support and continuous IV sedation when required
- Respond to codes and use cardiac monitoring to recognize and treat life-threatening arrhythmias
- Document thoroughly and efficiently in Epic to ensure continuity of care and accurate charting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Pharmacy, Radiology, PT, Social Work, TeleStroke) to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Educate patients and families, maintain isolation precautions, and support rapid response and sepsis/code stroke protocols
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license for Washington (or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; ER/ED experience preferred — 1st-timers are welcome
- Current BLS required; ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC preferred
- Proven skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
- Comfortable with critical interventions: central line care, IV vasopressors, blood product administration, ventilator care
- Experience with Epic charting (Epic required)
- Ability to work rotating evenings/nights and every-other-weekend coverage
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BSN preferred but not required
- Current BLS; ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NIHSS as noted in qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Epic electronic health record proficiency
- IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line management
- Blood product administration and medication administration experience
- Continuous IV sedation and vasopressor management
- CPAP/BiPAP, ABG interpretation, and ventilator management
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Triage and emergency response skills
- Isolation precautions and multisystem organ failure management
