Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate patient care using the nursing process
• Carry out delegated nursing tasks and supervise assigned care functions
• Collaborate with RNs and the care team to keep the unit organized and efficient
• Demonstrate clinical competence and follow established protocols for safe care
• Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
• Build professional relationships with patients, families, and team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license with successful license/certificate verification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to meet required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, TB test/questionnaire, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza where applicable)
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
• Fit test and color vision screening as required by facility policy
• Professional attitude, strong communication, and effective teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid foundation in patient care and the nursing process
• Clinical competence in assessment, interventions, and documentation
• Experience with delegation and supervision of nursing tasks
• Quality improvement mindset and attention to patient safety
• Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working under RN direction and within hospital systems
