Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology and cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain imaging and cath lab equipment to the highest standards
• Maintain sterile fields and follow strict infection control protocols throughout procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care and optimize workflow
• Document procedures, devices, and patient status accurately in the medical record
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond promptly when called in
• Complete required competency checklists and skills validation, including Trinity skills checklist

Qualifications

• Active license or certification with verification required
• Experience working in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab settings and comfort with on-call duties
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity 10 panel drug screen
• Ability to pass required health screenings including 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, physical/health statement, and COVID-related requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of fluoroscopy and IR imaging equipment
• Proficiency with sterile technique and procedural setup in the cath lab
• Ability to monitor and interpret basic patient hemodynamics and respond to emergencies
• Familiarity with radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
• Comfortable documenting accurately in electronic medical records
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments
