Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
• Assess, monitor and document patient status using clinical judgment
• Implement ACLS and other emergency interventions when needed
• Perform focused neurological assessments using NIHSS for stroke care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Adhere to infection control, safety policies and facility licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Active RN license with ability to verify licensure
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS competency required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing
• Current immunizations and 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon) as required
• Successful completion of fit test, color vision, physical/health statement and 10 panel drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills and ability to recognize clinical change quickly
• Proficiency with ACLS algorithms and emergency response
• Stroke assessment skills including NIHSS scoring
• Trauma nursing principles consistent with TNCC
• Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to complete required competency testing and agency onboarding
