Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, X-ray, and fluoroscopy with confidence and attention to detail
• Provide intraoperative OR imaging and orthopedic imaging support in the operating room when required
• Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment safely and follow established protocols to ensure excellent image quality
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while adhering to radiation protection standards and institutional policies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pediatrics and multiple outpatient clinics
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and image archiving in PACS/EHR systems
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold infection control and safety requirements

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• CT Certification required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required
• Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Experience performing fluoroscopy, OR imaging, orthopedic imaging, X-ray, and CT
• Comfortable working in a sometimes-hectic environment with autonomy and sound judgement
• Traveler/contract candidate with ability to work the posted schedule (Wed-Fri + every other weekend, 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and CT protocols
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and intraoperative imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM, and basic image post-processing
• Excellent patient positioning and radiation safety practices
• Clear communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain composure in a busy environment
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and quality imaging
