Shift Type: Variable 8-hour shifts with variable start times (days of week vary), floating as needed; on-call rotation required; rotating/variable day shifts

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care throughout the endoscopy process
- Perform pre-procedure assessments and educate patients and families on expectations
- Monitor patient vital signs, sedation status, and recovery closely and safely
- Assist physicians and the endoscopy team during procedures with sterile technique
- Provide post-procedure care, discharge teaching, and clear documentation in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow and safety
- Respond professionally and promptly when assigned on-call or float duties
Qualifications
- Active WA State Registered Nurse License (required)
- Current ACLS card from the American Heart Association (required)
- Registered Nurse (RN) credential
- Experience or familiarity with endoscopy and peri-procedural patient care (preferred)
- Comfort with floating to support unit needs and participating in on-call rotation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced procedural environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of endoscopy procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
- Patient assessment and monitoring during sedation and recovery
- Infection control practices specific to procedural areas
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Effective teamwork, communication, and adaptability in changing situations
- Ability to prioritize, triage, and respond to urgent patient needs
