Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic imaging including X-ray and CT to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and assist with OR imaging for surgical cases
• Provide imaging services across specialties including orthopedics, oncology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and ambulatory clinics
• Ensure radiation safety and proper patient positioning for optimal image quality
• Triage and manage imaging requests during a sometimes-hectic environment with autonomy and professionalism
• Communicate imaging findings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation, credentialing, and compliance with hospital and agency requirements

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required; CT certification is mandatory
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Experience with fluoroscopy, OR imaging, orthopedic imaging, X-ray, and CT
• Comfortable working autonomously in a high-volume or sometimes hectic environment
• Traveler/contract experience preferred but not required; able to work Friday - Monday schedule and take call as needed

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent)
• Registry/Certification through ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiologic Imaging principles and best practices
• Computed Tomography (CT) operation and cross-sectional imaging
• X-ray/General Radiography techniques and positioning
• Fluoroscopy operation and safety
• Radiation safety and infection control procedures
• Patient positioning and care for a variety of populations
• Experience supporting oncology, neurosurgery, pediatric, and orthopedic imaging needs
• Ability to prioritize in high-volume settings and work independently
