Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility while following lifting protocols
• Document resident care clearly and timely in the charting system
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver person-centered care
• Assist with feeding, dressing, bathing, and hygiene while preserving dignity
• Observe infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate important resident updates

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Valid state authorization to practice where assignment is located
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts and delivering compassionate care
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with basic patient care tasks and ADL assistance
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Comfortable with documentation and basic electronic charting
• Good time management and prioritization under busy conditions
• Friendly, patient-focused bedside manner and teamwork skills
