Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at point of service
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care and clinical observations clearly and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop effective care plans
• Support patient mobility, wound care, and activities of daily living as needed
• Contribute to a positive, safety-focused culture and assist with unit initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Maryland (or compact RN) in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Comfortable working in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Diploma in nursing considered with appropriate licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
• Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic health record systems
• Strong prioritization, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to teach and support patients and families through recovery
