Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patients' conditions with diligence
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
• Perform accurate documentation in the patient chart and communicate changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure smooth patient flow
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Respond promptly to patient needs and provide emotional support during their stay

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort with medication administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you’ll be talking with patients, families, and colleagues all day
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of medical-surgical nursing and basic patient assessment
• Vital signs monitoring, wound care, and ADL assistance
• Familiarity with medication administration and documentation best practices
• Comfortable with electronic health record charting and timely documentation
• Good clinical judgment, prioritization, and time management
