Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the nursing team at Casa Del Sol Center to deliver excellent patient care
- Oversee clinical operations and ensure standards of care and regulatory compliance are met
- Provide 24/7 on-call guidance and support via phone for clinical questions and escalations
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain smooth operations
- Collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Mentor, develop, and evaluate nursing staff to build a strong, confident team
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or in a senior nurse leadership role
- Strong nursing background with demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to be available 24/7 by phone for on-call responsibilities
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team-building abilities
- Comfortable working in a travel/contract setting and adapting quickly to facility practices
Knowledge & Skills
- Nurse leadership and clinical oversight
- On-call triage and remote clinical decision support
- Staff scheduling and resource coordination
- Regulatory and quality compliance awareness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team and leadership collaboration
