Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve patients’ abilities with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Complete thorough evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation in line with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate effective, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and safety to support long-term outcomes
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Skilled Nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
