Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and design individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
Complete evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation in line with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and safety to support long-term outcomes

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and development of OT treatment plans
Evidence-based interventions for ADLs and functional independence
Thorough documentation and regulatory compliance
Interdisciplinary collaboration and patient/family education
Strong verbal and written communication skills
