Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department to ensure smooth, patient-focused care
• Lead, mentor, and support PTs, OTs, SLPs, and therapy assistants to build a high-performing team
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations to protect patients and the organization
• Manage productivity, scheduling, and staffing efficiency to optimize patient care and team workload
• Collaborate with facility leadership to drive quality patient outcomes and operational improvements
• Monitor documentation, billing accuracy, and clinical performance metrics to maintain high standards
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention initiatives to grow and sustain your team

Qualifications

• Licensed PT, OT, or SLP — required
• Previous Director of Rehabilitation or rehab leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of SNF/rehab operations and compliance standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage productivity, scheduling, and clinical documentation

Education

• Licensed PT, OT, or SLP (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of skilled nursing facility and rehab operations
• Familiarity with state and federal regulatory and compliance requirements
• Experience with clinical documentation and billing accuracy processes
• Strong leadership and staff development skills
• Ability to analyze and act on clinical performance metrics
• Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
