Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department to ensure smooth, patient-focused care
• Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff (PT, OT, SLP, and assistants) to build a strong, high-performing team
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations to protect patients and staff
• Manage productivity, scheduling, and staffing efficiency to deliver consistent quality outcomes
• Collaborate with facility leadership to drive quality patient outcomes and operational goals
• Monitor documentation, billing accuracy, and clinical performance metrics to maintain excellence
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention initiatives to grow and keep talent

Qualifications

• Licensed PT, OT, or SLP (required) — your professional license is essential
• Previous Director of Rehabilitation or rehab leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing facility and rehab operations and compliance standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to guide your team effectively
