Shift Type: 4x10 Day shifts, 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM (typically four 10-hour day shifts per week). On-call required: minimum 12 call days per 6-week schedule including weekends. May require floating to Providence Mission Laguna as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist on cerebral diagnostic and interventional cases with precision and neuro focus
• Operate fluoroscopy and angiography equipment during a wide range of IR procedures
• Support central venous access and PICC line placements — prepare, set up and troubleshoot equipment
• Participate in advanced endovascular interventions including embolizations, TIPS, stent placements and angioplasties
• Prepare and manage sterile fields, instruments and contrast for procedures such as kyphoplasty, ablations and Y90 treatments
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Epic and manage images via PACS
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Cover on-call shifts and float to Providence Mission Laguna when needed, providing consistent high-quality care

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification (post 2011) — HARD STOP
• Fluoroscopy/Fluoro Permit — HARD STOP
• California state radiologic technologist license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant interventional radiology / fluoroscopy experience with demonstrated cerebral scrubbing experience
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities (minimum 12 call days per 6-week schedule, including weekends)
• Pending license not accepted; candidates must have active credentials at time of submission
• Trauma Level I experience preferred; strong neuro/interventional exposure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy and angiography workflow and safety
• Cerebral intervention scrub techniques and neuro procedural etiquette
• Central venous access, PICC placement and maintenance
• PACS image management and workflow
• Epic charting familiarity
• Experience with Siemens imaging systems and portable C-arm
• Ultrasound-guided vascular access experience
• Comfort with a broad procedural mix: embolization, TIPS, ablations, kyphoplasty, Y90 mapping/treatment
