Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately, following established protocols
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers about treatments, side effect management, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient education clearly in the health record
- Participate in specialty competency testing and maintain required certifications and skills
- Promote a culture of safety and infection control in the ambulatory clinic setting
Qualifications
- Active RN license (ability to meet license verification requirements)
- Chemotherapy certification required (Chemo Certified)
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification listed as a preferred skill
- Current immunizations and health screening compliance as listed (TB/PPD or IGRA, MMR, Varicella, COVID-19, Hep B, Tdap, influenza)
- Experience in oncology ambulatory nursing preferred
- Ability to complete specialty competency testing and skills checklists
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of oncology ambulatory care and chemotherapy safety
- Proficiency in patient assessment, triage, and symptom management
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
- Excellent patient education and communication skills
- Infection control practices and medication administration safety
- Team collaboration and time management in a fast-paced clinic environment
