Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients consistent with LVN scope of practice
- Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
- Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition to the care team
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other skilled nursing interventions
- Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary staff to support patient care plans
- Maintain clear, professional documentation and communicate effectively with facility staff
- Follow facility policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential
- Ability to work the assigned schedule: Saturday through Wednesday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Willingness to complete the two-week orientation
- Valid nursing license appropriate for the assignment location
- Professional communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Education
- Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable performing patient assessments and documenting findings
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary staff
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
