Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long term care setting
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care
• Document clinical observations and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Educate residents and families about care plans and health management
• Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and escalate when needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Experience or strong interest in Long Term Care nursing (posting emphasizes LTC)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtainable
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to complete clinical documentation in EMR systems
