Shift Type: Primarily day shifts with varying hours (4 to 10-hour shifts), alternating days based on department needs; may include occasional night (NOC) coverage (rotating/variable schedule)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform accurate, timely clinical laboratory testing as a CLS/MT to support patient care
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens with skilled phlebotomy techniques
- Maintain strict quality control and documentation to ensure reliable results
- Enter and review lab results and workflows using Epic to keep clinical teams informed
- Collaborate with clinicians and laboratory staff to troubleshoot and optimize testing
- Support microbiology testing when needed and follow lab safety and compliance protocols
- Train and assist colleagues to uphold consistent standards across the department
Qualifications
- Active Montana medical laboratory technologist license (MT/CLS) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Phlebotomy training required and confident specimen collection skills
- Epic experience required for documentation and result management
- Microbiology experience preferred
- Flexible to work alternating day schedules and occasional night coverage
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong lab techniques in specimen handling, processing, and testing
- Phlebotomy competence and patient interaction skills
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record workflows
- Understanding of quality control, calibration, and lab safety standards
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt to varying shift lengths and department needs
