Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care across the skilled nursing/assisted living setting to ensure excellent outcomes
• Lead care planning activities and ensure resident care plans are accurate, up to date, and documented in the clinical record
• Schedule, train, and mentor care staff to deliver safe, regulatory-compliant clinical services
• Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance and supervision to the care team during shifts and on-call periods
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with residents' families and medical professionals to support coordinated care
• Drive performance improvement efforts such as infection control and fall risk initiatives to enhance resident safety
• Respond promptly to on-call needs and participate in after-hours decision making to support residents and staff

Qualifications

• Montana Licensure as an LPN or Registered Nurse (RN) — required
• American Heart Association BLS certification — required
• Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar long-term care settings preferred
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience with scheduling and staff training
• Ability to work varied and night shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations
• Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with care planning processes
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Education

• Nursing licensure required (LPN or RN — Montana licensure). No specific academic degree explicitly required in the posting.

• Sound clinical judgment, patience, and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and complete tasks with minimal oversight
