Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (exact start/end times vary by facility), plus call approximately 10-12 days/month
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures with precision and calm
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and instrumentation using excellent scrub technique
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and anesthesiology to ensure safe, efficient procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment in partnership with clinical team (Philips Xper Hemo familiarity helpful)
- Provide timely, compassionate patient care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as needed
- Document procedures and patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR
Qualifications
- Active MT or Compact RN license required
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
- Recent scrub experience in both Cath and IR required
- Comfortable with call responsibilities (approx 10-12 days/month)
- Experience with Philips Xper Hemo and Meditech EMR is highly desirable
- Experience with EVAR and EP is a plus as the program grows
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong scrub RN skills specific to Cath and Interventional Radiology
- Familiarity with Left/Right Heart Cath, PCI, PM/ICD, Structural Heart and TEE/CVs
- Knowledge of IR procedures: Ports, PICCs, Peripherals, ESI, Nephrostomy, G-tubes
- Ability to operate or support imaging equipment (Philips Xper Hemo) and use Meditech EMR
- Excellent sterile technique, instrument knowledge, and intraoperative prioritization
- Calm decision-making during high-acuity or emergent situations
