Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate care for laboring patients and newborns in a fast-paced environment
• Circulate and scrub for deliveries including C-sections when needed
• Manage NICU-level needs as this role has heavy NICU requirements
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and immediate postnatal stabilization as indicated
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, pediatric teams, and NICU staff to ensure safe outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and promptly
• Participate in unit performance expectations and adapt to regional quality standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required) to practice in the assigned state
• Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS
• Hands-on Labor & Delivery experience with NICU exposure — NICU experience is required
• Experience circulating and scrubbing for C-sections is highly preferred
• Comfort working night shift and covering weekend rotations (2 out of 3 weekends)

• Ability to perform under the regional performance expectations and clinical protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity situations
