Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with meals and feeding while promoting dignity and resident independence
Maintain complete and accurate documentation in resident charts and electronic records
Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a healthy environment
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support person-centered care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification
Able to pass background check, TB screening, and drug screening
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but new graduates are welcome
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing assistant skills: ADLs, transfers, patient positioning, and safe lifting techniques
Vital signs measurement and accurate documentation
Infection control practices and proper PPE use
Effective, compassionate communication with residents and families
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Familiarity with electronic health records and charts is a plus
