Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends and call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a variety of cases including general, ortho, robotics, plastics, trauma, ENT, spine, urology, and GYN
Maintain sterile field and handle instruments with precision throughout each surgery
Collaborate with RNs and the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Support trauma and ortho trauma cases with confidence and skill
Float to Lithotripsy when needed and bring your expertise to every assignment

Qualifications

BLS certification required
Experience with Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Strong background in General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Ortho (fractures), ENT, and Robotics (Si and Xi preferred)
CST certification preferred
Open to first-time travelers who meet the experience requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in scrubbing and circulating support
Comfortable with 30+ cases per day in a busy OR setting
Knowledge of trauma protocols and high-risk procedures
Ability to adapt quickly to different surgical specialties
Strong communication and teamwork skills
