Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday through Friday, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with varied start times, contract dependent

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate for complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
Assist with robotic-assisted procedures using Da Vinci XI
Prepare and maintain sterile field, ensuring patient safety
Coordinate with surgical team for smooth case flow
Handle on-call duties for emergency procedures (30-min response time)
Float between CVOR and Main OR as needed

Qualifications

Active Washington state license for Surgical Tech
BLS certification required
Robotics experience preferred but not required - willing to train
EPIC proficiency required
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases
Proficient with Da Vinci Xi robotic system
Strong sterile technique and aseptic practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with EPIC EMR system
